We're Baaaaaaack!
Since 1974 Puppet Productions has offered live training in the form of a traveling tour known as the School of Puppetry. Of course it should be mentioned that we skipped three years in the mid 1980s, but a lot of us would like to have skipped some years in the 1980s anyway so it's no big deal, right? Anyway, we were teaching puppetry before hardly anybody was even thinking about creative ministry in any form and have continued leading in many areas to this day.
Well, we're planning our 2008 Training Tour and we're looking for some very special people to send out on the road. Touring in 2008 will be a unique experience for our instructors. We will be presenting the usual Training Workshops and Festivals for churches of course, but we'll also be offering daytime training sessions for Law Enforcement and Fire Prevention personnel and there will be regular potential for local television interviews as well. |
Here's a brief description of the kind of people we're looking for: APPLICATION PERIOD FOR 2008 CLOSED
- At least 21 years of age.

- US Citizen or foreign applicant already possessing a valid work visa.
|

- In good health with no physical limitations.
|
|
- Non-smoker, non-drinker, non-illicit drug user
|
- Articulate and well-spoken.
|
|
- Quick thinking and flexible.
|
- Substantial puppetry experience and skill.
|
- Available continuously from AUG 15 through NOV 15, 2008.

Single individuals and/or married couples who match the description above will be considered. A background in Preschool Education, Law Enforcement or Fire Prevention is a plus.

In the meantime, if you are desperate to get Puppet Productions style training -- the only kind worth getting -- you have some choices available to you.
You can, of course, purchase our Puppet Training Videos (series of six) and Creative Ministry Videos (series of five) which we wrote and produced. They may be slightly dated, but even so, they can get you well on your way to wherever it is you are going. Unless you're going to the grocery store. These videos will do very little to assist you on that trip. However, attending one of our live training sessions is better so keep coming back to check out our itinerary.
