SIMPLE BLACKLIGHT FRAME PLANS
You KNOW you want to do black light puppet shows. If your team is like most, you have done more black light puppet shows than white light shows. In fact, your team probably can't find their puppets if the overhead lights are on. Anyway, as you know, those little 18" black lights have to be kept close to be of much value, and hanging them from the front of the stage isn't entirely satisfactory, but what's a mother to do? She builds a simple stand to hold those little black lights away from the performance area but close enough to be effective. It's easy. It's inexpensive. It's high time you got started. Here are the plans. Have fun! |

BASIC TECHNIQUES OF PUPPETRY
Everybody has to start somewhere. That's more or less a rule. Probably more than less. The point is, you've really only got two choices: (a) don't attempt to learn anything and do whatever comes out when you put a puppet on; or (b) attempt to learn something and make all your puppet show audiences feel better about the whole thing. We all hope you choose (b). And if you do, here's a free way to begin. Of course, after you finish with this, you'll really be hankerin' to feed that learning bug and will want to purchase our Puppet Training Videos, but that's after the free part. It's pretty good, though. And free. So go ahead and take the first step. Unless you're sitting down right now, in which case you can just click the button and start looking at the instructions. |

FUND RAISING IDEAS
Puppet shows aren't free, are they? Oh they might be to the people watching, but not to the puppeteers putting on the show. Buying puppets, puppet stages, puppet costumes, cabbages, sound systems, lighting systems, and something to carry them all around in takes a lot of money. Wait a minute. Did I say "cabbages?" I meant, puppet accessories. Silly. So, unless you have several five pound boxes of twenty dollar bills laying around, you may need some help with fund raising. Here are a couple of ideas you might try but be sure to spend any funds you raise with them at puppetproductions.com. You're already here anyway. It doesn't get any more convenient. |
